PUEBLO, Colo. – April 27, 2018 – Playing in their final game of the season, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's lacrosse team suffered a 16-10 defeat Friday night at Colorado State University-Pueblo.
The Mountain Lions were led by
Natalie Church who found the back of the net three times and assisted on two other goals. Church also won a game high eight draw controls.
Ellie O'Brien posted three ground balls and caused a team high three turnovers.
Sydney Malcolm,
Madison Ellis and
Vanessa Nelson each scored two goals.
Emma Becker played all 60 minutes in goal, making 18 saves.
UCCS was outshot by five attempts, 38-33, but won 17 of the 28 draw controls against the Pack.
The loss ends the Mountain Lions season at 7-10 overall and 3-6 in league games.
