COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. –
Kennedi DeRossett went two-of-four with her first home run of the season in the first game and
Paige Duncan recorded her first multi-hit game of the season in the second game as the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (11-8, 8-6 RMAC) dropped a pair of games to Colorado Mesa (13-7, 12-1 RMAC) at Mountain Lion Field. The Mavericks won the first game 14-13 and the second game 8-0 in six innings.

The teams will conclude the series with a doubleheader starting at 11 a.m., on Sunday.
