Martinek's Three Home Runs Leads to 2-0 Day Against Fort Lewis

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Melissa Martinek hit three home runs and went seven-of-eight as the University of Colorado Colorado Springs won its first two home games of the season with a 9-1 win in five innings and a 6-5 win in nine innings against Fort Lewis College at Mountain Lion Field. The Mountain Lions (7-4, 4-2 RMAC) combined for 27 hits against the Skyhawks (3-16, 0-6 RMAC).
