Dalton Patten and
Kendall Godley each made their marks in their final home collegiate games in a 94-92 win tonight against MSU Denver. Welsh broke the UCCS career scoring record, Patten surpassed the 1,000-point mark in his career and Godley secured the win with a pair of free throws with 1.1 seconds left in regulation.
Welsh scored 33 points and now has 1,924 points in his career. He finished with his 11th double-double of the season with 10 rebounds. Godley scored 25 points and was 11-of-11 at the free throw line. Patten scored seven points to become the 10th Mountain Lion in program history with 1,000 points.
UCCS and MSU Denver will face each other in four days in the RMAC Quarterfinals. MSU Denver will the No. 4 seed and host the game on Tuesday, March 1, at the Auraria Event Center against No. 5 seed UCCS.
