GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Jake McAllister got two shots on goal, but the University of Colorado Colorado Springs struggled against the defending conference regular season champions Colorado Mesa in a 3-0 loss at Walker Field in the RMAC opener. The teams were tied and played evenly through the first half before the Mavericks (3-1-1) took advantage in the 59th minute against the Mountain Lions (2-2).
