The Mountain Lions led by one point at halftime, 34-33, but outscored the Eagles 54-38 in the second half in the 88-71 win in the only exhibition contest of the season.
The exhibition contest provided an opportunity for the incoming freshmen who will redshirt the season to play against outside competition.
Blend Avdili scored five points in the final 2 minutes of the half,
Ed Bourke went three-of-five from the field for six points,
Elijah Ross scored two points with a blocked shot and
Chris Moody pulled down two rebounds. All four Mountain Lions played less than 10 minutes tonight in their only scheduled competition of the season.
