Mountain Lions End Season in RMAC First Round

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's soccer team held a 22-6 shot advantage, but Colorado State-Pueblo used its first shot of the game to score the only goal of the night as the ThunderWolves took a 1-0 decision against the Mountain Lions in the RMAC Tournament First Round. The loss marks the end of the season for the Mountain Lions (13-5), who assembled one of the top overall season performances in program history.

UCCS took the first 12 shots of the game, with five on goal in the first 35 minutes of the game. CSU-Pueblo's first shot was a header off of a cross from the right side of the box and it found it's way into the net for the 1-0 advantage in the 37th minute. The Mountain Lions held a 15-2 shot lead at halftime, but the shot margin narrowed to a 7-4 advantage for UCCS in the second half.
