Grace Ramsden made seven saves against one of the top scoring offenses in NCAA Division II last season as the Mountain Lions (0-2) fell 4-0 to No. 5 St. Edward's (2-0) today.
Hannah Levett led the offense with three shots and moved within one shot of entering the top five list for UCCS career records. She increased her career total to 96 shots and needs one more to tie Julia Saenz' total from 2008-11.
Ramsden's seven saves come on top of her nine against Texas A&M-Commerce on Friday night. She is leading the RMAC with eight saves per game and is No. 10 in UCCS single-season records for total saves.
The Mountain Lions will open the 2014 home season in a week against Fort Hays State at 11 a.m. The Tigers are 2-0 this season with wins against Southwest Minnesota State and Sioux Falls.
