Box Score DURANGO, Colo. - In a game that featured strong goalkeeping from both teams, Fort Lewis College used a header off a corner kick in the 63rd minute to take a 1-0 decision against the University of Colorado Colroado Springstoday at Dirks Field. Defending RMAC Goalkeeper of the Week David Meyer made six saves and was able to extend his shutout streak to 243 minutes before the second half goal.

The Mountain Lions were selective in their shot selection in the first half, but were efficient on the shots they took with three of the four on target. Meyer split his saves between the first and second half and his six saves today were the most for him in three games this season.

UCCS spread out its 10 shots in the game among eight student-athletes, led by two each from J.R. Calhoun and Jake McAllister. The Mountain Lions put seven shots on target today for the highest output in the conference season.

The Mountain Lions will remain on the road for a Sunday afternoon game at Colorado School of Mines. The Orediggers (4-3 / 2-1 RMAC) defeated Colorado Christian 2-0 today.
