10/31/2014 7:26:00 PM

Box Score LAS VEGAS, N.M. - University of Colorado Colorado Springs redshirt freshman goalkeeper Grace Ramsden made five saves this afternoon, but one shot made it past her in the 67th minute as the Mountain Lions (6-10 / 5-8 RMAC) fell 1-0 to the Cowgirls (10-3-4 / 7-2-4 RMAC) at Perkins Stadium. She moved into a tie for fifth in season records and is three saves away from third in career records.

The Mountain Lions doubled the Cowgirl shot output in the final 20 minutes of the first half, including one shot on frame by Miranda Brown in the 33rd minute.

UCCS remained in sixth in the RMAC standings, which will setup a playoff atmosphere on Sunday in the regular season finale. The Mountain Lions have 15 points, one ahead of Sunday's opponent Colorado State-Pueblo. A win will guarantee the No. 6 seed in the RMAC tournament, as well a UCCS tie combined with a tie or loss by Western State in its game at Colorado Christian.

Sunday's game against the ThunderWolves (6-8-2 / 4-7-2 RMAC) will begin at 2:30 p.m., at Mountain Lion Stadium. CSU-Pueblo lost 2-1 today to Regis in its last home game of the season.
