Mountain Lions set to take on Eastern New Mexico at home

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (1-0) will look to remain unbeaten this weekend when it takes on Eastern New Mexico University (1-2).

While the Mountain Lions won their only home contest so far this season against St. Mary's University (TX) last Thursday 3-0, the Greyhounds dropped their only road match thus far when they took on Wayland Baptist University (TX) and lost 1-2.

The Mountain Lion's also have the hottest player coming into the match with UCCS Senior Brandon Costa fresh off RMAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after his seven save, shutout performance last week.

UCCS is 1-3 all-time against Eastern New Mexico with the Greyhounds winning the most recent contest 1-2 in overtime 5 September 2010.

A win would give UCCS their first 2-0 start to a season since 2006 and only their fourth 2-0 start in school history (others came in 1994 and 1998).

Don't forget: It's youth night tomorrow with youth/club/high school soccer players and their immediate family members receiving free admission. Players should wear their jersey or team t-shirt to receive free admission for themselves, their parents and their siblings.
