COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (3-5-3 / 2-4-3 RMAC) lost a close game against the Metro State Roadrunners (8-2-3 / 6-1-2 RMAC) Friday night dropping a 1-0 decision at Mountain Lion Stadium.
 The lone goal in the match came in the 66th minute when Andy Lopez capitalized off a pass from Michael Jordahl. The goal was Lopez's sixth of the season.
J.R. Calhoun generated the most shots with five while
Mathew Cox,
Blake Barnes and
Austin Bell all took two shots of their own respectively.
The Mountain Lions tied with Metro State in the two team's previous matchup this season on Sept. 20 where a 0-0 final after double overtime was the outcome. The season series between the two will end at 0-1-1 for UCCS unless the two square off in the playoffs.
The game ends the team's current home stand where they wrapped up with a 1-1-1 record during the stretch.
