COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresh off a 3-0 win over CSU-Pueblo, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (3-4-2/ 2-3-2 RMAC) gets ready to take on Colorado Mesa University (5-4-2 / 3-2-2 RMAC) tomorrow at Mountain Lion Stadium. The game will begin at 1 p.m.
The two teams met up earlier this season in Grand Junction, Colo. and nothing was decided as the teams played to a 1-1 tie after 120 minutes of soccer. Tomorrow's game will essentially be a tie-breaker to determine the series victor this year.
Mesa currently sits in fourth place in the RMAC while UCCS is on the outside looking in at an RMAC playoff berth in seventh place with
The Mavericks lead the all-time series 7-3-2 but UCCS has gone 2-2-1 against the Colorado Mesa in the previous five meetings.
