Mountain Lions Go for Sweep of Orediggers Today

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (8-6-1 / 7-4-1 RMAC) will go for a sweep of Colorado Mines (10-4-2 / 7-3-2 RMAC) and clinch one of the top four seeds in next week's tournament when the teams face today at 1 p.m. at Colorado Mines Soccer Stadium.

The Mountain Lions earned a 1-0 victory against the then-No. 23 Orediggers on Sept. 28 during a five-game winning streak for UCCS. Marshall Hiner scored his first goal of the season in the 37th minute of the game and Brandon Costa made seven saves against the Orediggers, including back-to-back-to-back saves off a penalty kick in the first half.
