The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs soccer team lost the finale of its three-match sojourn to Salt Lake City, falling 3-0 to the Biola Eagles Saturday morning.
Biola (3-0) outscore its opponents 10-1 in its three games in Utah.
The three goals were the first given up this season by the Mountain Lions. UCCS (2-1) won its previous two matches 4-0 and 3-0.
The first goal scored this season against UCCS goalkeeper James Bjorklund came in the 31st minute. Bjorklund mistimed his challenge on an Eagle attacker and was give a yellow card for the foul. Biola's J.T. Searles converted the penalty kick.
The Eagles added a second goal in the 53rd minute on a 30-yard laser by Omar Villablanca. The ball deflected off a Mountain Lion player to Villablanca, who drilled the shot past Bjorklund who was shielded on the play.

Isaac Kostrow into the game and the freshman was greeted with some bad luck. He deflected an arcing direct free kick but the ball went straight to Nick Bautista, who easily headed it in.
