CU-Colorado Springs and Regis Univ. battle to 1-1 tie in men's soccer

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 tie with Regis University Friday at 4-Diamond Complex.

Kevin Noleen scored the only goal for CU-Colorado Springs in the 35th minute, off a feed from Matt Bolton. Seth Ludwig notched the game-tying goal for Regis University in the 62nd minute. Jim Van Natter recorded the assist.

Mike Archuleta made eight saves for the Gold, now 7-2-1 overall this season and 6-1-1 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Erich Bartlet made 10 saves for Regis, now 6-4-1 overall and 3-4-1 in the RMAC.

CU-Colorado Springs had a two-man advantage for the final 30 seconds of regulation and all 30 minutes of overtime after Kris Stumpf received his second yellow card of the game, and Van Nutter gathered a red card, both at 89:30.
