COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Senior Dale Sherwin recorded eight kills and nine digs to lead the Colorado School of Mines past the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs 15-1, 18-16, 15-8 Monday in women's Division II volleyball action at The Gold Pit.
The Orediggers, who came back from a 14-11 deficit in game 2, also got a team-high 17 digs and six kills from junior Jamie Henderson. Colorado School of Mines improves its record to 8-3 overall and 2-2 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
Sophomore
Michelle Cervantez led CU-Colorado Springs with ten kills, while junior
Tara Henry added a team-high 16 digs. The Gold falls to 3-13 overall and 1-4 in the RMAC.
