COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Katie Bowman and Kendra DeGraff each recorded 10 kills to lead Colorado Christian University to a 15-7, 15-4, 15-4 victory today over the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs in women's Division II volleyball action.
The Cougars, ranked No. 24 in the latest Division II national poll, improved their record to 9-5 overall and 5-0 in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Sarah Bote finished the match with 24 assists, and Aimee Sorenson added 12 digs for CCU.
Tara Henry led CU-Colorado Springs with six kills and nine digs.
Michelle Cervantez and
Michelle Cherrie each had five kills, while
Jessica Bryant recorded a team-high 15 assists for the Gold, now 3-11 overall and 1-2 in the RMAC.
