COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Sophomore Malte Fischer scored the game-winning goal with 5:15 remaining to give Regis University a 2-1 victory over the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs Wednesday in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference battle at 4-Diamonds Complex.
Fischer took a pass from Francisco Dongo and headed the ball past Gold goaltender
Greg Meyer to win the game for Regis, which stays on top of the RMAC with a 6-2-1 conference mark. Junior Spencer Davis scored the other goal for the Rangers, now 7-5-1 overall this season.
Sophomore
Nick Arter scored the lone goal for the Gold, his first of the season, while Meyer, the top ranked goalie in the RMAC made five saves. CU-Colorado Springs drops to 6-5-2 overall and 2-3-2 in the RMAC.
