He ranks in the top 10 for the Lopers in five more events for both the indoor and outdoor seasons.

Schrodt coached seven national qualifiers (five high jumpers, one hurdler, one combined event) as a graduate assistant at Nebraska-Kearney. Under his coaching, Julie Burr set a new program record in the 60-meter hurdles and Emily Everitt earned All-America honors at the 2016 Division II Indoor Championships.

Schrodt earned his bachelor's degree in science education with a coaching minor from Nebraska-Kearney after a two-year career for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln football team. He also earned his master's degree in sport administration from Nebraska-Kearney.
