Meyer opened the season with a pair of shutouts with a 1-0 win against Lubbock Christian and 0-0 tie against No. 7 Midwestern State. He made six saves against the Mustangs on sunday after he anchored a defense that allowed only one shot on goal by the Chaps on Friday.
