Colin Prater won the first RMAC event of the season by 17 strokes at the Club at Ravenna with a 12-under 201. He made a 66 in the opening round on Monday, followed with a 68 on Monday afternoon and finished with a 67 on Tuesday on the par 71 course. He recorded two eagles and 14 birdies during the three rounds, and came within one stroke of the RMAC record for a conference event.

Prater is tied for the best stroke average in Division II in the early season with 67 strokes per round. He was a Third Team All-American last season for the defending RMAC regular season and tournament champions.
