Haley Smith went 2-0 with her first collegiate shutout against Colorado Christian and Western New Mexico on Thursday and Friday. She struck out five batters in each game and allowed no extra base hits and only three hits total in the 9-0 win against Christian on March 25.

Smith is tied for the RMAC lead in fewest walks allowed, fifth with a 3.11 earned run average and tied for fifth with eight wins this season.
