Before UCCS: Was the male recipient of the 2005 Dynamic Athletes Scholarship, given by Dynamic Athletics International Inc., which is awarded for outstanding performance on the field of play as well as in the classroom ... named first team All-Conference three years in a row ... named first-team All-Area in 2004 by the Gazette ... four-year letterman in soccer and two-year letterman in basketball at Widefield High School ... was team captain in both sports ... set school record for most career goals (51) ... last played for the Gladiators in 2004, when he registered 17 goals and eight assists in just 10 matches ... had hat tricks against Pueblo West, Fountain-Fort Carson and Harrison ... scored both goals in Widefield's 2-0 win over Alamosa in the state playoffs on Oct. 27, 2004.
