2008: Kelsey was named RMAC defensive player of the week for the week of September 1, 2008 after she recorded at least 19 digs in three of the Mountain Lions' four matches at the CSU-Pueblo Classic. She began with 19 digs against St. Edward's and then added 24 digs each against Angelo State and Dixie State. She averaged 5.57 digs in 14 sets. ... Was the only Mountain Lion to be named RMAC player of the week the entire season. ... Recorded double-digit digs in 26 of UCCS' 28 matches. ... Led the team with 480 digs, 158 more than the next highest player. ... Career high came on Oct. 25 against Colorado Mines, when she recorded 28 digs. ... Had 20 or more 10 times. ... Twice had four service aces (Against CSU-Pueblo on Oct. 14 and against Colorado Christian on Nov. 4. ... Handled 49 serves with just a single error against Mesa State on Sept. 6.

July 15, 2008Mountain Lions add three more to 2008 volleyball squadUniversity of Colorado at Colorado Springs volleyball coach Jessica Wood announced Tuesday the addition of three players. Joining the Mountain Lions for 2008 will be defensive specialist Kelsey Pobar from Chaparral High School, outside hitter Andrea Brodie from Cheyenne Mountain High School by way of Portland State, and middle blocker Karina Miastkowska from New Trier High School in Winnetka, Ill.
