Mountain Lions Projected to Qualify for RMAC Tournament

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs volleyball is projected to advance to the RMAC Tournament for the second straight season after the release of the 2013 RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll this afternoon. The Mountain Lions tied for seventh in the poll with Colorado Mesa.

UCCS finished sixth in the conference last season and in the tournament quarterfinals. The Mountain Lions went 18-11 overall and 10-4 at home in the Gallogly Events Center. UCCS will return two starters and the libero from last year's team and will add seven newcomers to the 2013 roster.

Head Coach Chrissy Elder begins her first season at UCCS against Lubbock Christian on Sept 6 in the Lady Buff Classic in Canyon, Texas.
