Volleyball team begins three game road trip
The UCCS volleyball team (15-8, 10-5 conference) will take a trip down Nevada Ave. to play cross-town rivals Colorado College (21-8, 8-2 Conference) tonight at 7 p.m. The Mountain Lions lead the all-time series with the Tigers 21-14 after their last victory on September 21, 2011. UCCS won that match 3-0 (25-17, 25-13, 25-14).
UCCS will be back on the road this weekend as they take on Chadron State(4-20, 2-13 RMAC), on Friday at 5 p.m. The Mountain Lions lead the all-time series with the Eagles 21-14 after the last win on September 22 of this year. UCCS won that match 3-1(18-25, 25-14, 25-20, 25-15), and has won the previous 15 matches against the Eagles, dating back to October 2, 2004.
The time for the match on the next night against Black Hills State (9-14, 3-10 RMAC), on Saturday November 3, has been changed to a 3 p.m. start time. The Mountain Lions won the only match against the yellow jackets on September 21 of this year. UCCS won that match 3-0 (25-22, 25-16, 25-16).

|December 4, 2012||Barnett Resigns as UCCS Head Volleyball Coach||Keith Barnett, the four-year Head Volleyball Coach for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs, resigned his position this morning. His resignation will be effective immediately. The Mountain Lions advanced to the RMAC tournament for the seventh time in the last nine seasons and for the third time under Barnett in 2011.|
