Kinzer leads the Mountain Lions against No. 17 UC San Diego

Colorado Springs, Colo.- The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's volleyball team falls to 1-3 as they lose to N0. 17 UC San Diego at the Grand Canyon University Invitational in three consecutive sets (25-21, 25-20, 25-14), on September 1, 2012. 

Nikki Kinzer led the Mountain Lions in kills with eight and block assists with four, adding four digs. 

Amy Einspahr finished the match with six kills and a kill percent of .357.Einspahr was also in on 14 team attacks and three block assists. 

Freshmen defensive specialist Katie Maguire recorded 14 digs adding four assists and one service ace. The Mountain lion's other defensive specialist,Heather Sanders also put in nine digs with one service ace. 

Senior setter Lindsey Stich led the team in assists with 13, adding one kill and one dig. Grace Gordon helped the Mountain Lions with assists recording 10, while also recording eight digs with one block assist. 

UCCS looks to rebound from their 1-3 start next weekend, September 7 and 8 as they host the 2012 Mountain Lion Invitational
