Bathelt Named RMAC Setter of the Week
Mountain Lion Senior setter, Cindy Bathelt was honored Monday by the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference when they released their players of the week for volleyball. Bathelt was named setter of the week, the other two weekly awards went to Nebraska-Kearney's Ashley Leitner (Player of the week), and Cassidee Young of Regis (Defensive player of the week).
Bathelt helped the Mountain Lions win all three matches in a remarkable three game road trip that included three matches in three nights in three different cities covering 1,400 miles. She distributed to help eight teammates average one kill per set or better on the road trip. She also posted a 324 hitting percentage (16-5-34), 9.92 assists per set, two solo blocks, and four assisted blocks.
The Mountain Lions start their home schedule on Wednesday vs. Colorado College and have twelve of their final seventeen games at home in the Gallogly Events Center where they were an impressive 8-5 last season and should see many more RMAC honors.
