Koop named to all-tournament team
Middle blocker Megan Koop was the lone University of Colorado Colorado Springs player named to the BritKare Lady Buff Classic All Tournament Team.
Only three of the eight teams that participated in the tournament had a player named to the all-tournament team. Host West Texas A&M had three named, Angelo State two and UCCS one. West Texas A&M and Angelo State were both 4-0 in the tourney while UCCS was 2-2.
Koop was impressive in her Mountain Lions debut. She averaged 2.71 kills per set over the team's first four matches while hitting .407. She also had a solo block and assisted on nine others.
Koop transferred to UCCS this year after two seasons at Colorado State-Pueblo.
