| January 23, 2012 | Martin Hits National Qualifying Mark to Lead Mountain Lions at CU Potts Invite | Seth Martin cleared 2.06 meters (6’9”) in the high jump, finishing runner-up and bettering the NCAA Provisional Standard of 2.04 meters Saturday. In just his second collegiate meet, the freshman put himself in position to qualify for the NCAA DII Indoor National Meet to be held March 9-10 in Mankato, MN. The performance moves Martin to number two all-time on the UCCS Men’s High Jump list, behind 2009 All-American Steven Gomez. Currently sitting at 13th in the nation, Martin looks poised to improve upon his qualifying mark in the coming weeks. | |
