UCCS Picked Eighth in RMAC Preseason Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's indoor track and field team was picked eighth in the 2013-14 RMAC Preseason Coaches' Poll released this afternoon. The Mountain Lions finished seventh in last year's indoor championships.

The UCCS distance runners finished No. 20 at the NCAA Division II National Cross Country Championships last month. The Mountain Lions return a pair of All-RMAC runners from the conference indoor championships and three from the outdoor championships.

UCCS will compete this weekend at the Adams State Early Open this Saturday in Alamosa, Colo. It will be the first meet in the air-supported High Altitude Training Center at Adams State.
