Neher Runs Personal Best in 5K at Washington University

ST. LOUIS - Madison Neher lowered her personal best by more than 20 seconds in the 5,000-meter run with 18 minutes, 44.64 seconds for the University of Colorado Colorado Springs at the Washington University Invitational tonight. The time unofficially ranks fifth in the RMAC performance lists this season.

Neher ran in the fast heat and finished No. 22 overall in her first outdoor 5,000-meter run in two seasons. She placed No. 10 among Division II runners in the field.

The Mountain Lions will have student-athletes at the Colorado Mines Division II Front Range Invitational on Saturday to finish the Spring Break period.
