ALAMOSA, Colo. - Jonathan Wright finished second in both the 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash to lead a group of University of Colorado Colorado Springs sprinters at the Adams State Open today at the ASU High Altitude Training Center. His 200-meter time ranks him in the top six in both events in the RMAC performance lists.

Wright came within a half-second of a provisional qualifying mark in the 400-meter dash with his time of 50.47 seconds. He was the top attached collegiate athlete in the field. Wright clocked 22.84 seconds in the 200-meter dash to win his heat and was within seven-tenths of a provisional mark.

Travis Whitman finished for the Mountain Lions and in the top five overall in both events. He won his heat in the 400-meter dash with 50.91 seconds, and finished one spot behind Wright in the 200-meter dash with 23.15 seconds. He maintains his spot of second in the conference performance lists for the 400 dash behind Wright from the Adams State Early Grizzly Open in December, and is ranked in the top 10 in the RMAC for the 200 dash.
