GOLDEN, Colo. - After a pair of All-RMAC performances on Monday, the University of Colorado Colorado Springs wil compete in six scoring events on the final day of the 2013 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The first event with a Mountain Lion will begin at 11 a.m. at the Stermole Track and Field Complex at Colorado Mines.

Jessica Todd will compete in the first of her three events in the morning with the long jump. She will compete in the second of three flights with the No. 10 best mark in the conference this season at 17-0 ½. Todd has the second-best mark in UCCS history with 17-5 ½ from last season.

Sam Bauer and Megan Burrell will open the running events for UCCS at 11:25 a.m., in the two heats of the 1,500-meter run. Burrell holds the UCCS record with the sixth-fastest time in the RMAC this season with 4:32.06, set on the same track last weekend in the Colorado Mines Pre-Conference Open. She earned RMAC Female Track Athlete of the Week honors after setting the record for the first time this season at the Colorado Invitational.

Alexa Urban and Amber McAfee are both ranked in the top eight in the conference performance lists in the 800-meter run and they will both run in the fourth of four heats at 1:15 p.m. Urban has the third-fastest time in the RMAC with a provisional qualifying time of 2:14.25, while McAfee has 2:19.03 for the eighth-fastest time. Both Mountain Lions ran the times at the Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Invitational in mid-April.

Todd will be on the track for the first time in the championships for the 400-meter hurdles at 1:45 p.m. She's fourth in the conference performance lists with 1:06.04 from the Mines Pre-Conference Meet, and has the third-fastest time in UCCS history with 1:06.04.

UCCS will have four Mountain Lions in the 5,000-meter run at 2:35 p.m., in the final individual event of the championships. UCCS record-holder Burrell, 10K provisional qualifier Alyssa Andrews, Veronica Sandoval and Alyssa Wendt are each scheduled to compete in an event that is typically used as a last chance for teams to improve team standings, and which could see a large number of scratches before the event.

Todd, Urban and McAfee will join Briana Alley in the 4x400-meter relay at 3:05 p.m., in the final event of the championships. The Mountain Lions will be in the second heat and enter with the fourth-fastest time in the conference.

Fans can follow the championships through live results from TRXC Timing, and track events will be broadcast on America One Networks. Updates will also be posted throughout the final day on the Mountain Lion social media networks of Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
