Mountain Lions Seventh in RMAC Outdoor Preseason Poll

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs women's track and field was chosen to finish seventh in the 2013 RMAC Outdoor Track & Field Preseason Coaches Poll released this afternoon by the conference office.

The Mountain Lions finished eighth in last year's outdoor conference championships and were seven points in the scoring behind sixth-place Black Hills State.

UCCS opened the outdoor season last Saturday at the Jerry Quiller Classic at the University of Colorado Boulder. Alex Colvin finished second in the pole and is ranked No. 18 in Division II with 10 feet, 11 ¾ inches.

The Mountain Lions finished seventh at the conference indoor championships in February with five all-region and three All-RMAC student-athletes.
