Mountain Lions 11th in DMR at Drake Relays
DES MOINES, Iowa - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's distance medley relay team finished No. 11 at the 104th Drake Relays this morning. The Mountain Lions finished in 10 minutes, 9.09 seconds on the Jim Duncan Track in front of a sellout crowd of 14,504 spectators.
Carson Aberle, Anthony Davis, Kyle McCloskey and Mike English finished third among the Division II teams in the field and within five seconds of a top six finish. The team featured three of the four relay members who competed in the event at the national indoor championships in March.
Seven relays records were broken today and six world-best marks were set in the final day of competition today. The final day also featured the rematch of the women's 100-meter hurdles from the 2012 London Olympic Games.
