Aberle Provisionals in 800 at Mt. SAC Relays
WALNUT, Calif. - Carson Aberle led three University of Colorado Colorado Springs runners in the 800 meters with a provisional qualifying at the 55th Mt. SAC Relays this afternoon at Hilmer Lodge Stadium.
Aberle finished third in his heat and clocked 1 minute, 52.04 seconds to provisionally qualifying for the Division II national championships in Pueblo, Colo. He unofficially remains atop the RMAC performance lists based on other performances at the Mt. SAC Relays.
Kyle McCloskey finished in 1:53.12 and Anthony Davis in 1:53.21 for the Mountain Lions in heat four and three, respectively. The times were the best for both Mountain Lions this season.
UCCS will close out the weekend at the Beach Invitational on Saturday at Long Beach State.
