COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's track and field teams will begin competition early in the morning and will continue action through midnight as the Mountain Lions compete in three different meets today throughout the Western United States. UCCS will be in action at the Mt. SAC Relays, Bryan Clay Invitational and Western State Invitational.

Action at the Mt. SAC Relays will begin at 3:30 p.m., MDT for the Mountain Lions. RMAC 800-meter leader Carson Aberle, who also has a provisional qualifying time this season, will lead three student-athletes in the event this afternoon. He will run in the fifth of six heats with Kyle McCloskey, and Anthony Davis will run in the fourth heat this afternoon.

Mike English is scheduled to close out the night for UCCS in the 5,000-meter run at 11:53 p.m. MDT. He has the sixth-fastest time in the conference with an adjusted time of 14:45.87, and has the third-fastest time in UCCS history with 14:40.75 from last season.
