Ullom, Davis Compete at Benich Invitational
GREELEY, Colo. - Chris Ullom and Anthony Davis led the University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's track and field team in the Tom Benich Invitational held today at the University of Northern Colorado. The Mountain Lion pair were the only attached student-athletes from UCCS to compete after a week of schedule changes led to several cancellations head of the institution's spring break.
Ullom ran an altitude-adjusted time of 4:27.42 in the 1,500-meter run, and placed one spot ahead of Anthony Davis in the overall results. It was the first 1,500-meter runs for either Mountain Lion in two seasons.
UCCS will have several student-athletes competing in several meets throughout the country next weekend as the Mountain Lions coordinate competitions with individual plans for the spring break.
