COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The University of Colorado Colorado Springs men's distance medley relay team will take to the track tonight in a short scheduled for the 2013 Joe Davies Open at Colorado School of Mines. The relays will be the only event on the track tonight at 6:45 p.m.

UCCS, Colorado Mines, Adams State and Fort Lewis will field teams tonight in the final attempt to lower times for the RMAC Indoor Track and Field Championships next weekend. The Mountain Lions are fourth in the conference standings from last weekend's adjusted time of 10 minutes and 15.33 seconds at the Mines Collegiate Open.

The Mountain Lions are one of seven RMAC men's teams competing at Colorado Mines this weekend, with the other two conference teams (Black Hill State and Chadron State) at the BHSU Rock and Jock Open. UCCS was ninth in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Central Region Team Index and one of six RMAC teams ranked in the top nine.
