ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Lauren Graham made it two-for-two-for-two to start the outdoor season.

The University of Colorado at Colorado Springs pole vaulter won her event at the New Mexico Tailwind Invitational with a mark of 3.98 meters (13 feet, 0.75 inches). It was her second win and her second provisional qualifying mark for nationals in as many outdoor meets.

Graham, a 2010 outdoor All-American who finished second at the NCAA Division II indoor championships on March 11, defeated a 24-athlete field Saturday that included 17 from NCAA Division I schools.

Three other Mountain Lions competed as UCCS sent just four to the Division I-dominated meet. Ashley Benfield was tops among those, taking fourth place in the 400-meter hurdles. Benfield was the top finisher among five Division II runners in the race with a time of 1 minute, 3.24 seconds.

Alexa Urban took fifth in the 800-meter run and, like Benfield, was the fastest of those from D-II schools (seven total). Her time was 2:16.19.

Jonathan Wright ran in two events, taking sixth in the 400 and 11th in the 200. His time in the 400 was 50.02 seconds and his 200 mark was 23.16 seconds.

Graham also ran in the women's 200, finishing 24th.
