RMAC Outdoor Track and Field Championship Day 1

PUEBLO, Colo. - The first day of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship began Sunday with the first four events of the heptathlon and the first five events in the decathlon.

The weather was near prefect in Pueblo first of three days of track and field competition. Allison Watson currently sits in 13th place in the heptathlon in her first multi-event championship meet competition. In the decathlon Brien Hopkins sits in fourth place with Mitchell Jones in eighth place.

Monday the RMAC begins again at 8:30 am with the Men's and Women's 10,000 meter races. Day two should run until about 5:30 pm in Pueblo at the Thunderbowl.
