UCCS Men Compete at Colorado College

David Harmer moved into third-place in school history with his time of 1 minute, 54.39 seconds in the 800-meter run at the 12th annual Colorado College Invitational.

The Univeristy of Colorado at Colorado Springs Mountain Lions finished in fourth-place with 40 total points.

Storm Allen competed in the high jump early in the morning only to withdrawl from the event due to injury. Allen proved resilent by competing in the the 4x400-meter relay and helped his team finish third in the event.

Blake Hansen placed fifth in the shot put with a distance of 10.74 meters. Preston Williams finished eighth in the discus throw with a distance of 111 feet, 10 inches. In the Javelin throw, Williams and Hansen finished sixth and seventh respectively and netted the Mountain Lions nine points in the three events.

Aaron Rubalcaba-Lopez finished fifth in the mile run with a time of 4:28.54 and gained four points. Also competing the event were Dan Pinter, and Alex Tiernan who finished eighth and 16th respectively.

Alex Vazquez finished fourth in the 400 meter with a time of 50.07 seconds, good for five points.
