University of Colorado at Colorado Springs thrower Craig Galaydick was named the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Field Athlete of the week, the conference announced Tuesday.

Galaydick won the discus with an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 163'5" at the Northern Colorado Stampede on Mar. 12 in Greeley. His mark leads the RMAC performance list by nearly 23 feet and currently puts him second on the NCAA Division II list.

Because this was the first reporting period of the season for outdoor track, the RMAC track & field athletes of the week represent the combined performances of conference athletes through March 27.
