Steel & Silver Series
The Steel & Silver Series is an all-sport competition series between the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and Colorado State University-Pueblo, in the 10 sport programs that both institutions sponsor - men's soccer, women's soccer, volleyball,women's cross country, women's basketball, men's basketball, women's indoor track and field, men's golf, softball and women's outdoor track and field. The points are awarded on a "winner-take-all" system within each sport. The institution with the highest cumulative grade point average among student-athletes in the common sports will also win five additional points.
The Ent Steel & Silver Series Trophy is awarded to the institution with the highest score at the end of each academic season. Since the establishment of the series in the 2005-06 year, UCCS has won the trophy every season.
