Dr. Chris Jones is originally from Houston, Texas and received his undergraduate degree at Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. After completing medical school at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, he returned to North Carolina to complete his Orthopaedic Residency at Duke University. Following completion of the residency, he received an additional year of training as a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Fellow at Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center under the direction of one of the world's premier shoulder and elbow arthroscopist, Buddy Savoie. At Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group, Dr. Jones will be practicing general orthopaedics with a special emphasis on both traumatic and degenerative problems of the shoulder and elbow. This encompasses advanced arthroscopic techniques, open surgery and joint replacement.
