Sutz Releases 2013-14 Cheer Roster

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - University of Colorado Colorado Springs Head Spirit Director Amy Sutz has announced the roster for the 2013-14 Mountain Lion Cheerleading squad. The upcoming year will mark the first year the spirit squads will fall under the UCCS athletic department.

The squad will feature three Colorado Springs natives and seven more from along the Interstate 25 corridor. The 12-person squad rounds out with one cheerleader from California and one from Washington state.

Sutz served last season as the Cheer Club coach at her alma mater. She was a member of the cheerleading club in her undergraduate years in the 1990s for the Mountain Lions. Sutz will guide the transition of the student club into the UCCS athletic department.
