2003: Had 34 starts and 18 appearances as a pitcher for the Mountain Lions ... Finished the season with a 10-12 record an a 2.77 ERA ... Led the team in strikeouts with 106 ... Hit only .136 but drove in 11 runs in just 66 AB ... Got the first win of her career and hit her first homerun, a three-run shot, against Southern Colorado on Feb. 16 ...Pitched a complete game giving up just three hits and one earned run against Regis on Apr 6 ... Had a career-high eight strikeouts against Southern Colorado on Apr 8 ... Went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI against Adams State on Feb 22.

Before CU-Colorado Springs: Attended East High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming were she didn't play softball because they school didn't even have a team ... Played club softball for the Triple-Crown Stars ... Did play volleyball for East where she was named team MVP ... Received the volleyball leadership award ... Was on the honor roll.

The games don't count in the standings, so the primary goal is to evaluate talent for the upcoming spring season. After 17 games of evaluation, the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs can be assured of one thing concerning its 2005 softball team.
May 17, 2004Powerful recruiting class bolsters Mountain LionsIf the coaches in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and the Southwest Region thought the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs' run to the RMAC title and the regional championship game was a one-time fluke, they'll need to reevaluate that assessment. Not only did the Mountain Lions graduate no seniors, but they also will get back a star pitcher and have signed one of the strongest recruiting classes in school history.
April 21, 2004Softball grabs records, RMAC crownThe University of Colorado at Colorado Springs clinched the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference regular-season softball title Wednesday with a doubleheader sweep of the Colorado State-Pueblo Thunderwolves at Four-Diamonds Sports Complex.CU-Colorado Springs (31-10, 23-3 RMAC) beat CSU-Pueblo (12-29, 9-20) 10-0 in five innings in the first game and 6-5 in eight innings in the nightcap. The Mountain Lions will host the RMAC championship tournament on April 30-May 1.
