Softball Adds August Summer Camp
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - School-age softball players who need to tune up before the fall season can do so in the 13th UCCS Softball Skills Camp Aug. 5-8. Camp will run from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Mountain Lion Stadium in the Four Diamonds Complex off of North Nevada.
Campers can register online for $150, and will learn how to improve their skills from the Mountain Lion coaching staff and student-athletes. Campers will need to bring their own equipment, including bats, shoes and gloves, and catchers will also need catchers equipment. Lunch will not be provided, but campers can order for delivery from Jimmy Johns during lunch.
Overnight campers can make individual arrangements through the Hyatt Hotel, located one mile west of the field near the intersection of Garden of the Gods and Interstate 25.
